SIGHT & SOUND HAS BEEN DOING "THE GREATEST MOVIES" POLL FOR 70 YEARS NOW. FROM 1952 TO THE LATEST ONE IN 2012. THEY INTRODUCED THE DIRECTORS POLL IN 1992, BEFORE THAT ONLY CRITICS USED TO VOTE.

Sorry for a late reply man. I had posted a comment but now found it got erorr and was not posted. Brilliant list, masterpieces up there. Though this is a little different list from your favourite movies post ;), but very familiar to the one we had on TGR, our small little poll. Just watched High & Low few weeks back, definetly up there in my top 5 Kurusowa!
